Lily's unstable breathing came out in slight pants as she finally came to a halt, in the middle of the Quidditch Pitch. She wasn't really sure as to why she had been running but it hadn't produced any relatively positively results. Her legs felt rather sore since she had been fairly lazy lately and she stretched luxuriously, putting her stiff body at ease. Another puff of hot breath escaped her lips and she ran a hand through her hair, messing up the blonde tresses that barely fell to her shoulders. Under normal circumstances, Lily got easily annoyed if anyone or thing messed up her hair but since it was going to happen anyway, who cared.
Lily directed her attention to the broomstick clutched in her other hand. Another gloomy little sigh escaped her lips and she mounted it, losing no time in kicking off, leaving everything but her thoughts at the shrinking ground. Her thoughts, at once, jumped to the Scarlett-Avery-Alex situation and she groaned in slight frustration. Cold wind whipped onto her face, making her hair fly and her nose feel rather cold, as she circled clumsily over the pitch. Lily was not too much of a routine flyer, she was just doing it because of her current dilemma. She was not sure as to whose side she was supposed to be on in the newest fight that had ensued.
Lily much preferred Avery over Scarlett but a part of her mind was very astonished and cross at how rude Avery was being with everyone. Meanwhile the side voting for Avery also managed to convince her that Scarlett was a coward and hiding behind Alex. Lily made an enraged sound at the back of her throat and directed her thoughts elsewhere, convincing herself that she had not come up here to infuriate herself. It had been ages since Lily had met someone new and the damp silence hung around her in a depressing manner. Heck, Lily would be glad to see Scarlett even, she just wanted some company. Any company.
