[Update] Week of 04/05/09 04/11/09

I apologize for not having posted the reasons for my extended absence; suffice it to say I've got way too much on my plate. In the coming weeks I'll be out of the country volunteering and then I have final exams, so the earliest I'll be able to get back here and dedicate some time will be May 4. I want to first come up with a better schedule for things: we tried to fit too much into a "school year" here at HI and it just doesn't work when we all have other obligations too. So my goal is to come with a more lenient way of scheduling things around here that still allows us to RP on a regular basis. If you have any suggestions, leave them here for when I get back on in a couple of weeks.

As a suggestion towards classes, most of the professors left before they got started. If you could make sure that the person who wants to be a professor already has an active student character, then you'd be more sure they won't up and leave =p

I thought the monthly activities were good, but maybe start them at the very beginning of the month so they're open for more than just a week, and more like the whole month so everyone gets a chance to post.
That's all I've got.

Oh, and I was thinking about rp'ing with a professor as well if I can.
I'm plenty active, but I don't know where to post that.

My issue with being a Professor was that none of my students seemed to even realize they had assignments. I went back several times before I posted a new assignment, and nothing was up. So I sort of let it fall away. Never once was I asked about assignments by the students who signed up.

But I do wish to continue being a Professor. I'm sure next year will be easier on me. xD Just it'd have to be weekends for me to do the whole "professor putting up assignments" thing.
